Dr. Saslow has practiced at Digestive Health since 1996. He specializes in gastrointestinal endoscopy and in the prevention, diagnosis and management of problems of the intestinal tract (esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon), biliary tree (gallbladder and bile ducts) and pancreas.
Dr. Saslow is a magna cum laude graduate of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where he completed his degree in Biology. He received his medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville and completed his internship and residency at the University of Utah. He completed a three year gastroenterology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, including a research year concentrating on gastrointestinal motility disorders.
In his free time, Dr. Saslow enjoys cycling, whitewater kayaking, and skiing with his family.
Dr. Gregory F. Churchill is a board-certified internal medicine physician and gastroenterologist serving the Durango, Colorado community at Digestive Health Associates. With a commitment to providing compassionate, cutting-edge care, Dr. Churchill specializes in diagnosing and managing a wide range of digestive and liver conditions.
Dr. Churchill earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of New England and completed his residency at Lankenau Medical Center. He further honed his expertise during his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville, where he served as Chief Fellow.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Churchill enjoys exploring the vibrant local culture in Durango, playing acoustic guitar (especially Beatles classics), and embracing outdoor activities like kayaking, hiking, and pickleball.
Ms. Glotfelty joined Digestive Health in 2015. She came to Digestive Health with a broad prior experience in the practice of Urgent Care, Family Practice and Urology medicine. Prior to moving to Durango she practiced in Anchorage, Alaska. She is a former wilderness medicine instructor for NOLS.
Beth received her BS Cum Laude as a Physician Assistant from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 2005. She is a Magna Cum Laude 1996 graduate of Western State College of Colorado, in Gunnison. She competed nationally in high school, collegiate and professional Nordic ski racing, distinguishing herself as a Junior National Champion and All-American ski racer.
Beth and her husband are happy to call Durango home. They have three children with whom they enjoy exploring the great outdoors.
Amanda Byers joins Digestive Health Associates with over 17 years of clinical experience as a certified physician assistant. She earned her Master of Clinical Health Services and Bachelor degree in Physician Assistant studies from the University of Washington School of Medicine, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Amanda has been a Durango resident since 2018, previously working with local orthopedic practices including Elevate Orthopedics and Spine Colorado. Her extensive clinical background brings exceptional assessment skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care to our gastroenterology practice.
