Ms. Glotfelty joined Digestive Health in 2015. She came to Digestive Health with a broad prior experience in the practice of Urgent Care, Family Practice and Urology medicine. Prior to moving to Durango she practiced in Anchorage, Alaska.
Beth received her BS Cum Laude as a Physician Assistant from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 2005. She is a Magna Cum Laude 1996 graduate of Western State College of Colorado, in Gunnison.
She is a former wilderness medicine instructor for NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School), bringing unique expertise in outdoor and emergency medicine to her practice. This background has given her exceptional skills in patient assessment and care in challenging situations.
Beth competed nationally in high school, collegiate and professional Nordic ski racing, distinguishing herself as a Junior National Champion and All-American ski racer. Her competitive background instilled discipline, precision, and dedication that she brings to her medical practice.
Beth is known for her compassionate approach and excellent communication skills. Patients appreciate her ability to explain complex medical conditions in understandable terms and her dedication to ensuring they feel comfortable throughout their care. She specializes in hemorrhoid treatment using the CRH O'Regan System and assists with various endoscopic procedures.
Beth and her husband are happy to call Durango home. They have three children with whom they enjoy exploring the great outdoors. Her love for outdoor activities and family life in Southwest Colorado makes her deeply connected to the community she serves.
