Digestive Health Call Schedule

Please be aware that the call schedule posted below does not reflect limitations in immediate availability that may occur from time to time when the on-call physician is attending to direct patient care responsibilities which may preclude the receipt of telephone calls.

This call schedule describes coverage of our private practice.  Please contact Mercy Regional Medical Center directly for information concerning its EMTALA-regulated Emergency Department Backup Call Schedule.

While one of us will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to address the needs of established Digestive Health patients, there are times that a Digestive Health gastroenterologist is not available for emergencies at Mercy Regional Medical Center (see *No DHA GI, *SW GI Covering Day and Night, *SW GI Covering Daytime Hospital Procedures and Consultations and *NPOC at MRMC, which are explained beneath the following calendar).

*No DHA GI means that no Digestive Health physician is providing backup Emergency Department GI call, on-call inpatient consultation or endoscopy services for Mercy Regional Medical Center during the specified block of time.  The start and end times for each "*No DHA GI" block, if the period of the block covers only a portion of the day, can be displayed by clicking on the item as displayed above in the monthly calendar, or by selecting the "Week" view in the upper right corner of the calendar.  A physician may not be physically present at Digestive Health's office or the Southwest Endoscopy Center, but coverage of the practice for established Digestive Health patients will be available.

*SW GI Covering Daytime Hospital Procedures and Consultations means that Centura Health Physician Group Southwest Gastroenterology is providing hospital procedures and consultations and serving on the MRMC EMTALA-regulated ED Backup Call Roster during MRMC's OR resource hours (07:30-17:30).
Centura Health Physician Group Southwest Gastroenterology services are provided by Dr. Orlando Lopez-Roman, Dr. Nathan Voise (until 02/24/2017) and Dr. Todd Sheer

*SW GI Covering Day and Night means that no Digestive Health physician is providing backup Emergency Department GI call, on-call inpatient consultation or endoscopy services for Mercy Regional Medical Center during the specified block of time.  Endoscopy services during this block are available through the on-call Centura Health Physician Group Southwest Gastroenterology gastroenterologist, who should be contacted directly at 970.764.3800, or through the Mercy Regional Medical Center Emergency Department at 970.764.2100, to request services.  A physician may not be physically available at Digestive Health's office or the Southwest Endoscopy Center, but coverage of the practice for established Digestive Health patients will be available.
Centura Health Physician Group Southwest Gastroenterology services are provided by Dr. Orlando Lopez-Roman, Dr. Nathan Voise  (until 02/24/2017) and Dr. Todd Sheer

*NPOC means no provider (gastroenterologist) is on-call at Mercy Regional Medical Center during the specified block of time.  Gastroenterology services at another Centura facility may be arranged through Centura Connect (Physicians call 866.919.9990, Patients call 888.776.0414).
